The constant distraction for something colourful and fresh

Normality and consistency dulls the mind and spirit, and pushes man to be on the constant lookout for something new and interesting to add some zest to their life, much like the presence of my interactive fishies on the right.

No matter how minute or seemingly insignificant the distraction really is, man's cognitive bias will certainly elevate its value to a much higher value than in reality.
